INTRINSIC WELLNESS


The aim of Intrinsic Wellness  is to help you use meditation as a powerful resourceful tool for health, purpose and meaning. We offer practical and easy self-help techniques and strategies, for increasing wellness, peace and on-going healing. Founded by Arian Young, a former Tibetan Buddhist nun, she weaves her background with over 30 years of meditation experience, eastern Mind-Body Wellness and psychotherapy. 

Today, more than ever, we need tools to help individuals, families and communities thrive and remain connected. We owe ourselves and others, the right to live our best life and to also, SLOW DOWN to renew, reflect and then, refocus - our integrity, survival and planet depend on it!  When we experience self-care regularly, we rest, heal and recover more efficiently, we're more abled and resourced; to make a difference and to make the world, a better place.

We believe meditation is profoundly uncomplicated, unless you make it so. When you discover your own personal meditation style, meditation is enjoyable, instinctive, effortless and natural. In this global village of ours that is the 21st century, we're all in this together; so what are we giving our attention to? 
To thrive in today's demanding world, we need to access our inner resources; to freely inhabit the spaces and places of our internal intelligence that offers nourishment, refuge, insight and tenderness.
Meditation can offer this and, more. Our body's wisdom is sensing the global urgency to come home to self and other.

4-Week Public Courses: Learn to Meditate for Self-Care
For beginners and experienced meditators

Learn simple, but powerful non-religious meditation training to help relax your body, slow your thinking and increase clarity for on-going renewal and recovery. Learn engaging reflective skills through Mindfulness awareness practices that help to awaken social, emotional and symbolic intelligence. Includes shorter meditations (30 seconds to 3 minutes) to help revive and refocus anytime, anywhere. Expect a 53 page 'Self-Care Meditation' workbook, weekly group email coaching and an invitation to get curious about your empowering capacity, to heal and sustain wellness.

Workshops: Explore Sustainable Wellness

Our meditation workshops invite you to play and explore - to discover, what exactly promotes and strengthens your sense of individual healing and connection to self and other. Founder Arian Young

Arian lived in monasteries and women's hermitages in Asia, Europe and the USA. Her meditative journey includes extensive training and teachings in the Gelugpa tradition of Lama Tsong Khapa Tibetan Buddhism, Ch’uan Zen Buddhism and Theravada Buddhism.

Arian has been selected as one of a panel of eight Australian experts in the field of wellness, for the nation’s first comprehensive The Test - Health and Happiness campaign launched in May 2009 and as an ongoing event, it has in its first year, a membership of 55,000+ members nationwide.  It is held in conjunction with News Limited, Channel 7, Sunrise, Today Tonight, Abundant Media and The Federal Government Health Department.
